We all know that when we’re in the presence of others, we should give them our undivided attention… but do we actually follow through with that basic rule of human interaction 101? We’re at lunch with friends and we feel our phone vibrate – do we sneak a peek to see what came in: email, text message, or phone call? Or do we resist the urge and leave it until after the meal?
A fun new game might be just what some of us need, Phone Stack. After everyone has ordered, the group stacks their phones face down on the table. The first person to touch his or her phone during the meal picks up the tab for the group.
What a great game to remind us of the importance of good old-fashioned face-time… do you think you can make it through a meal without your device?
