Be still my heart… Will you take a look at that sweet picture!?!?!?
My friend Samonia posted it on Facebook over the weekend asking me jokingly: “2 1/2 is old enough to start setting the table, right? And what is the rule about pajamas at the dinner table? “
And my response?…
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!!! It’s never too early!!! And PJs are perfect. SITTING AT the table is huge!!!! Wahooooooo!!!! (And yes, I used all of those exclamation points 🙂 )
Seriously, it doesn’t matter if the table is set correctly – it matters that you gather your family and actually SIT at a table, without technology and engage in some good old fashioned ‘face-time’!
Thanks Samonia for reminding all of us, it’s never too early, or too late to get started!
If you have little ones and would like some help making manners fun for your family, I’d like to invite you to sign up at Table Manners For Kids and I’ll let you know when we open the doors again for new participants to join the online course.
Do you know someone who would enjoy this post? If so, please share it and encourage them to sign up to receive Manner Monday? I would appreciate it!
If you’re new to Manner Monday, I’d love for you to take a minute to learn more about why I started it. You can click here to read my very first post that tells all about it.
