Attending Live Theatre and/or the Movie Theatre
Cell phones: When you check your device, the screen lights up casting a glow around you. It is very distracting to everyone in the theatre, even to the performers. Wait for intermission or the end of the performance.
Arrive on time and do not leave until intermission or the end of the play/musical.
Enter seats ‘facing’ the people you are walking in front of, don’t place your bum in their face while making your way to your seat.
Keep noise to a minimum: the rustling of candy wrappers or your program may not bother you, but it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard to your fellow theatregoers.
