Manner Monday: Rules of the Road, part 2

As seen on:

In week 12 of Manner Monday, we touched on ‘Rules of the Road’.

When it comes to driving etiquette, one of our friends, Charlie Amis, offered some ideas that I think make a great addition to the previous post:

  • “Keep right except to pass.”
  • “Move left to allow cars to merge onto the highway.”

Both of these suggestions also brought to mind:  ‘Turn Signals’.  Turn signals are meant to be used as a polite way of saying ‘Hello, I’m heading into your lane’, in lieu of an abrupt ‘I’m here’, sans signal.

Being a courteous and conscientious driver makes everyone’s day a bit better.

Please visit my post ‘What is Manner Monday?’ to learn more about how to make the most of Manner Monday. Do you have a ‘manner’ you would like to see covered on Manner Monday?  Feel free to send me your thoughts.

And, of course, please share ‘Manner Monday’ with your friends and colleagues. If you would like to subscribe to my newsletter and receive ‘Manner Monday’ in your inbox, please enter your email address in the ‘Subscribe to Newsletter’ box on the right.

‘Thank you’… and Happy Monday!
