Nametag placement
When attending a networking event, place your nametag on your upper right chest, close to your shoulder. By placing your nametag up high, when you shake hands with someone, they will easily be able to view your name during the introduction.
Also, don’t forget:
- Slow down and take a minute to ensure you write your name legibly and large enough for people to easily read.
- Use your first and last name only. Nametag space is limited and you want people to remember your name. Save your company information (unless asked to include it) for conversation.
- Make sure that your nametag is on straight.
