Yesterday we hosted our sons 8th annual Christmas Party. When he was 3, we were cleaning up after our ‘big people’ Christmas Party and he said, “I want to have a Christmas Party!” My response, “of course, you do – and why didn’t I think of that!?!?”. He’s been hosting it ever since and it’s turned into a fun tradition.
A few years ago, we met a new friend Caleb from his baseball team. Caleb and his parents started a local charity to help supply diapers to families in need. I had no idea – child abuse is more likely to occur due to non-stop crying from continually wearing soiled diapers. For a few years now, we’ve asked guests to bring diapers to donate to Caleb’s Cause Foundation. We’re super excited to report, for his party this year, over 1,000 diapers were collected and will serve over 50 kiddos in need! We love how these boys are getting the opportunity to help others.
If you would like to help Caleb’s Cause provide diapers to families in need, you can do so by making a financial donation via their website, or you can request for a diaper drive box to be dropped off at your business. Or, instead of gifts for a birthday party this year – ask for diapers! Please don’t hesitate to call or email me if you have questions about getting involved!
