Ice Cream Pops

We’ve been making these yummy Ice Cream Pops for the past few weeks.

They make such a nice treat. They’re just the right size, they’re easy to eat, and they leave no dishes to clean!

Here’s what you will need:

For the 4th of July, we used red and blue sprinkles.  We have been using a variety of “sprinkles”, but figured we would be festive for the weekend.

Next, take your small ice cream scoop (ours makes 1 1/2 inch scoops)

While the ice cream is still in the scoop, insert a small wooden spoon.

Then pop it out and pass it on to the “decorator”.

We usually make a few for the “big kids” by crunching some pecans and mixing in miniature chocolate chips. (Yum)

Place in the freezer until time to eat.

And presto… a fun snack for everyone!
