Disappearing Marshmallow rolls…

AKA:  yummy goodness that gives the State Fair cinnamon roll man a run for his money.

Wow…the dietician definitely will not approve these, but they sure are tasty.  And Guapito had a blast making them.

What you will need:

2 pkg of Crescent Rolls

Marshmallows (the big ones)

½ cup of sugar & 2 tsp of cinnamon, mixed together

½ cup of butter (melted)

¼ cup of chopped nuts (if desired)

For the frosting:

½ cup Powdered Sugar

½ TBL Vanilla

2 TBL Milk

Separate the crescent rolls into triangles.

Dip each marshmallow in the melted butter (I told you the dietician would not approve) and roll in the cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Try to keep your ‘sous chef’ from eating the marshmallows before finishing their assigned task.

Take a crescent roll triangle and drop a few pieces of chopped nuts, then place the coated marshmallow on it and wrap up the little package.  Be sure to pinch any openings tight so the yummy goodness does not escape.

Dip the top of the ball in the melted butter and then into the cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Place the ball of yummy goodness in a muffin tin and sprinkle a few more chopped nuts on top.

There is a very good chance these little rascals will bubble over, so you may want to place a cookie sheet underneath to avoid a potential mess.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

To make the frosting:

Add milk and vanilla to the powdered sugar and stir; add more milk if necessary to make it the consistency you prefer. Just be careful not to add too much milk at one time or it will get too runny.

Remove from oven and drizzle the Frosting.

ENJOY!!!
