Turn off, or at least put down, the cell phone while in the presence of others.

Ideas:

• When in the grocery store line this week, engage the clerk…not your cell phone.
• Having lunch or dinner?  Let your cell phone go to voicemail.  Enjoy the people at your table, giving them your undivided attention.
• While in the car with the kiddos, implement ‘tech check’* have everyone put down the technology and engage in some gold old-fashioned conversation.
